MIRIELLO (FILITALIA): “IMPORTANTE CHE IL NUOVO PRESIDENTE DELLA REPUBBLICA SUPPORTI LA CULTURA ITALIANA NEL MONDO”
FILADELFIA 04-18-2013. Rosetta Miriello, Presidente di Filitalia Inernational, ha dichiarato che l’elezione del nuovo Presidente della Repubblica Italiana e un momento estremamente importante per la diaspora italiana negli USA.
Il Presidente Miriello ha auspicato che il nuovo Presidente della Repubblica possa valorizzare la comunita italiana che vive negli USA, e, nel contempo, tutti gli italiani che si sono stabiliti nei secoli scorsi in altre regioni del Mondo.
“Il Presidente della Repubblica non e solo il Principale Rappresentante dell’Italia, ma anche di tutti gli italiani. Per questo –ha dichiarato il Presidente Miriello- spero che il nuovo Capo dello Stato sia attivo nel sostenere la cultura italiana nel mondo, e nel sostegno delle organizzazioni che, come Filitalia, sono impegnate nella tutela della lingua e della civilta italiana nel Mondo”.
SULL’ELEZIONE DEL PRESIDENTE DELLA REPUBBLICA ITALIANA
L’Italia e una Repubblica Parlamentare in cui il Presidente della Repubblica e eletto ogni sette anni dai membri della Camera dei Deputati e del Senato. Inoltre, ogni Regione ha il diritto di nominare ulteriori “grandi elettori” che partecipano all’elezione del capo dello Stato con diritto di voto attivo.

PHILADEPHIA 04-18-2013 Rosetta Miriello, Filitalia International President, stated that the election of the new President of the Republic of Italy is an extremely important moment for the Italians in the USA.
President Miriello hopes that the new President will valorize the Italian communities in the USA and in other countries where the Italians reside.
“The President of the Italian Republic is not only the Head of the Italian State, but also the Highest Representative of all the Italians. For this reason, whoever is going to be elected, I hope that the new President of the Italian Republic of Italy will be active in order to strenghten the Italian culture and help all the organizations engaged in the support of the Italian language and civilization abroad as Filitalia International is” said President Miriello.

ABOUT THE ELECTION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE ITALIAN REPUBLIC
Italy is a Parliamentary Republic in which the Head of State is elected by the members of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate every 7 years. Moreover, each of the 20 Italian regions has the right to appoint some additional “special” electors, who take part in the vote for the President of the Republic of Italy.
