Mondomusica New York is a large string-instrument trade exhibition that hosts violin and string instrument makers from around the world in a unique setting that allow attendees to purchase high quality instruments and accessories from over 160 exhibitors.
Mondomusica New York was specifically created for the U.S. audience and marketplace. It mirrors the world’s prominent Mondomusica event, which takes place annually in Cremona, Italy. Cremona, in addition to being the birthplace of the violin making tradition, is also one of the most artistically and rich areas in Italy. Located in the Lombardy region, Cremona is known for its musical history and tradition including some of the earliest and most renowned luthiers such as Guarneri, Stradivari and several members of the Amati family.
