UDAR Ukrainian opposition party ended his electoral campaign in Kyiv by promising a stable and democratic Ukraine. Former boxing champion also denounced President Viktor Yanukovych for irregularities.
An European country which has to take an example from Poland. Ukrainian opposition UDAR party leader Vitaliy Klychko presented his idea of Ukraine during last electoral campaign breathing, in Kyiv, on Wednesday 10/26.
Among UDAR priorities, Klychko - who used to be a boxer until the decision to take part on politics - underlined the necessity to create an Anti-corruption committee in order to defeat what he defined as the worst Ukrainian peculiarity.
UDAR party leader also accused Ukrainian authorities for irregularities during all the electoral campaign. According to Klychko declarations, the Party of Regions, which is supported by Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, used public money to pay electoral initiative and materials.
"If UDAR will enter in the parliament, we will not cooperate with the Party of Regions - sentenced Klychko - We can think about a cooperation just with those political forces which work for a democratic Ukraine".
In foreign policy, Klychko's model is Poland: an European country which joined the EU after the fall of communism. According to UDAR leader, also Ukraine has to repeat Polish experience and join the European Union. At the same time, Klychko sentenced that Ukraine should have good relationship with all neighbors.
"I'm not a Russophobe nor an anti-patriot as I've been painted - sentenced UDAR Leader - the Ukraine I work for is a strong and stable European country".
Ukrainian election are to be held on Sunday the 10/28. According to several EU statements, from the regularity of these election will depend the Association Agreement signature with the EU, which has been previously suspended after United Opposition Leader Yulia Tymoshenko arrest.
