"The story of my mother is a story of sufferance, but thanks to people committed in the respect of democracy and human rights in Ukraine as Mr. Cazzulani we never felt alone". This is how Yevhenia Tymoshenko, the daughter of former Ukrainian PM Yulia Tymoshenko, during a press conference in Milan, at Lombardy Regional Council, presented the new essay of Matteo Cazzulani "Ukraine, gas and handcuffs: Yulia Tymoshenko's trial".
Hryhorii Nemyria, Deputy PM in the cabinet of Yulia Tymoshenko, who is actually the President of European Integration Committee at the Ukrainian Parliament, also attended the presentation.
Yevhenia Tymoshenko, on behalf of her mother, also added that "Ukraine, gas and handcuffs: Yulia Tymoshenko's trial" covers one of the several cases of violation of liberty under Yanukovych era, which is filed with more complex domains as energy geopolitics and relationship between Europe and Russia.
